ABOUT THE DEPT OF EEE

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the academic year 2004-2005 with an intake of 60 students. Department was offering M.Tech in Electrical Machines & Drives from the academic year 2011-2012 with an intake of 18 students and Department was offering M.Tech in Power systems from the academic year 2014-2015 with an intake of 18 students. The EEE department has well experienced 16 Teaching Staff and 4 Non - Teaching Staff. Faculty of EEE department is specialized in the core areas of Electrical and Electronics Engineering like Power systems, Electrical Machines and Industrial Drives, Power Electronics, Control Systems, High Voltage Engineering etc.

To Produce Engineers having Professional and Leadership qualities with capacity to take up Professional and research assignments in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

MISSION

 To impart quality and real time education to the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. To deal with the contemporary issues and to cater to the societal needs.

 To impart soft skills, leadership qualities & professional ethics among the students, to develop graduates to compete at the global level.

 To encourage students to pursue higher education and take competitive exams.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES

Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
